Faith

When time is erupting in who goes where and when it is hard to rely on the faith that was once contained inside. I scatter the ashes of lost wants and try to stay ahead of "the game," maybe if I can acknowledge my faults, I can conquer them. Faith can reside in a lingering battlefield for only so long, shelter the mass and evolve into peace.

On Writing

There can be no better feeling than getting recognized for pieces of work, especially in front of your colleagues. Unexpected, uplifting comments.

Crawling Towards the Light

Objecting my body to countless calories, I find my will to counteract and have allowed this to take precedence. There is an internal battle being held on a daily basis, put down the candy bar, pick up a water.

"There is no box"

When embarking into the unknown, "there is no box." The mind: attachment, memories, theories, ideas - can be a pandemonium of inspiration if one lets it. Don't get bogged down by your misinterpretations, communications, or fear.

Paved a Parkway

"Suburbia is where the developer bulldozes out the trees, then names the streets after them."
-Bill Vaughan

To create, we all establish a center of destruction. We meld what we want to unravel our latest endeavor. What would our creations be if not for the idea or plateau of which we jumped off to obtain it? Can we create without insulting another maker?

To Be As One Ought Be

"He is the wise man who has by perfect living gained the instinct of rightness by which he guides himself, whether in thought or action, who has found that centre of balance which is always over his point of contact with circumstances. He is the man whom Nature pours the riches of all her instincts."
- N. Sri Ram, Thoughts for Aspirants

Every morning we enter society where corpuscle masses entangle themselves in the "if's, but's, and when's." We live by these, a pencil line on a Gregorian calendar. To attain peace we have to find the balance of joy vs. overpowering selfishness, contentment vs. boredom, free will vs. kindness. N. Sri Ram said it perfectly, to obtain happiness one has to know his boundaries.

Little Known Me

So it's the start of something new. Thoughts without words that elaborate events, scar memories, change people's point of view. It is the beginning of peaceful rain dances in the night, dissipating smoke, spiritual contamination without losing one's original shape.

Milieu = "the physical or social setting in which something occurs or develops."
